Please take a moment to vote in `lucias-tears's LIGHT AND DARK competition. I am one of the finalists, but PLEASE vote for the piece that you think should win. I'd love it to be mine, but I want it to be an honest competion, not a popularity contest. Vote honestly.

My Loves:

Next--yours seem to me to embody the contest's theme better than the other entries--with the only real competition in that aspect being the one with the "above and below" ground scene. Other entries seemed too focused on one aspect of the theme--either light, or darkness--with only a nod to the remaining concept.
Finally--as you well know--I'm a sucker for Victorian art--and these two are so blatantly Mucha-esque, that I can't resist them.
Well done, Dear! Whether you win the contest or not--in my book--you deserve to win!
(And I'm writing my comments here, instead of on the contest page--because regardless of the fact that I think your piece is head and shoulders above the rest--they are all pieces with various strong points--and many, clearly, have hours of work in them--and I've no desire to put them down in any way.
